They were written for children, families and educators who want to share a story and enter a rich world of imagination — whether or not they take part in the educational program.

Book One
By Mor Ben Zaken • Illustrations by Uzi Benjamin
A colourful journey that invites children to discover that the same moment can be viewed in more than one way.
Tik and Tak climb aboard the Magic Carpet and meet characters, colours and new points of view. Through the story and illustrations, the colourful glasses become different lenses through which children can look at situations, people and the world around them.

Book Two
By Mor Ben Zaken • Illustrations by Uzi Benjamin
The journey continues into a magical garden where thoughts take the form of seeds: some thoughts can feel heavy, while supportive thoughts can be nurtured and helped to grow.
Tik and Tak meet the Garden Keeper and visit the magical Waterfall of Thoughts, where they imagine troubling thoughts being washed away and making room for more supportive words and thoughts.
Through a colourful story and child-friendly imagery, the book gives families a simple way to talk about thoughts, the inner voice and how a supportive thought can lead to one small step in real life.

Inside The Magic Carpet and the Garden of Thought
After reading, children are invited to add their own photograph and create a personal Garden of Thoughts — allowing the story to continue in their own world.

A special place for the child's photograph helps them feel that they, too, are part of Tik and Tak's journey.

A dedicated space invites children to draw their garden and continue the journey through imagination and creativity.
Why families choose the Magic Carpet books
Children enter a colourful story with engaging characters, while meaningful ideas unfold naturally through the reading experience.
The books offer images and words families can return to without putting a child on the spot or asking them to share personal experiences.
A story families can return to, explore together and discover afresh with every reading.
The journey continues at home
The family area offers simple explanations of the ideas in the books, conversation starters, short activities and imaginative journeys to share at bedtime.
A shared reading experience
There is no need to turn reading into a lesson or test what a child understood. Read, enjoy and return later to one idea the child remembers.
Through Tik, Tak and the other characters, children can discover an idea without being asked to speak about themselves.
The illustrations and journeys invite children to talk, play and picture the story in their own minds.
Later, a family can return to a character, colour or phrase from the story during an ordinary moment at home.
A book and a shared experience
Read from beginning to end, pause at an illustration that captures a child's attention or return to a favourite character. There is no single “right” way to read — curiosity and connection are at the heart of the experience.
